BACKGROUND
=============

Celia's world was crumbling all around her.  Yes, she was wealthy and affluent.  Yes, she loved some bad boys; but always kept things together. 

The Sodality saved her life, just like it did Laurie.  And she, like Laurie, joined because she felt a sense of belonging.  They would take care of her.  And SCALLOP was there for her as well. 

So why did Darius suddenly betray everyone?  Why was she now about to face trial for a crime that never even happened - let alone one she didn't commit? 

And why was it that her needs were now so insignificant to everyone else?  Celia's entire paradigm of the world was falling apart.  The one thing missing was a man she could love.  And now, she lacked everything else on top of it.

With each passing minute, she could feel a little more of her innocence dying.  No rights read, no lawyer, no family visits, nothing!  Why were her rights being run roughshod over?  And why did only her Sodality friends even seem to care that her rights were being violated?  She may have been a few things in life.  But until now, she was never a criminal!
