BACKGROUND
=============

This is a scene where Chancellor Avori has recruited some more friends for Keet Kabo for her covert mission to stop Gosmerid from nuking Dephinapolis.  Keet is unsure how any of these clowns are gonna be that much help, but she finds it easy to bond with them.  She and Bart "Bolte Chipotle" Chippen go way back, to when their homes were destroyed in 1997.  The Meethlite exile Titus "Socratic" Rahmerthal has already proven a wise strategist and strong ally. 

They are on a quest to recruit another exile looking for some revenge: Jake "DJ Jackal Semicolon" Semical.  Upon their efforts to escape Gosmerid's forces in the museum following a job interview gone horribly wrong, Keet accidentally revives from suspended animation a man abducted by SCALLOP in 1998: Evan "Time Capsule" Manicotti. 

With his unique weapons specialty and innovation, Keet believes Evan may just be the heart that the team needs to finally come together - as her own leadership style is lacking a certain charm.  However, Keet also fears that Evan's charm may go too far: will he ever learn to take anything seriously?

IN THIS SCENE

Keet brought up a fact, but her insulting nightclub-goer with ape-like features by telling them he "might have a potassium deficiency" triggers Evan to have memories of watching Dunston Checks In back in 1997 on VHS.  He is unable to contain his laughter.  Alas, in Earth-G7 2025 on Phaleel, Keet is understandably not understanding what she just walked into.

Phaemer Village Peacekeepers is part of The Gerosha Chronicles in Dozerfleet Comics.  It was highly inspired by 90s nostalgia and by Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. 

In celebration of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, I felt compelled to make this wallpaper.   I decided that since Guardians 2 uses 80s retro for its logo scheme, I'd go with 90s retro.  After all, Time Capsule is from 1998.
