After doing some more research on the massive attack on my recent submission, I've determined that yes, the brigade of trolls there is from DeviantArt and followed me there. Their main target was not the song itself, though they did launch a relentless campaign against the song. They also attacked Camelorum Adventures and any involved in making it or who liked it. But then they started downvote campaigns to hamper the statistics of all my songs-including songs I submitted years ago that were never treated that way before the campaign. It's clear now that the works themselves were fine. The fans are fine. The attackers were only going through that much trouble for one reason: personal hatred of me.
I can understand that when you make a difference anywhere - especially a positive one - you will have enemies. Years back, I defended Jeanette Runyon from some particularly nasty "human" beings. I also have bested quite a few in debates on Facebook and GirlsAskGuys. One of those who lost an argument is bound to hold a grudge and seek revenge at some point.
Running a Facebook page, keeping track of friends on there, contributing to news, running a YouTube channel, running a Tumblr blog, running a journal here on top of everything else I do here, being active on two wikis, playing MAA, making fan sprites of it, and managing a music collection, holding a job at a grocery store, trying to keep an apartment running.... Something's gotta give. I already put the game DLC center operations on hiatus. My grandma's advice echoes that of May from 2002 Spider-Man: "You do too much. You're not Superman, you know!"
Sometimes, it's good to take the old folks' advice. Time to downsize operations some more. There will always be human locusts out to destroy all that is good. But completed works are harder to attack, especially if a fandom is in place to go to war against said locusts. That won't happen if nothing is ever finished, which means time to reduce the distractions. As of today, no more AmIRight. No more MAAF contests. I'll finish the existing entries, and call that site good. MAA is getting old anyway.
Also, I've met a gal who seems pretty cool, and that could lead to moving up in life. At least everyone else is safe - for now. I'll handle my locust problem on an as-needed basis.

Introducing the Arab Abductor Goose
So I discovered something weird today. Apparently, the Abductor Goose in Camelorum Adventures (which is implied to be Mother Goose come to life via Carly or similar means, similarly to how the Cheshire Pig comes to life; a goose that is obsessed with stalking Tina Barina because she swallowed a fly while being arrested) is not the first time that such a terrifying bird-like kaiju has ever been envisioned. It turns out, the ancient Arabs had their own version of Abductor Goose. Only, this kaiju didn't resemble a Canadian Goose of Unusual Size. The Longneck, or "Al Anqa'a," is a phoenix-like monster that is of supernatural origin, and pulls similar shenanigans to Abductor Goose. The book Marvels of Things Created and Miraculous Aspects of Things Existing, which some might crudely compare to being the ancient Arab version of an SCP catalog (or even more crudely to a Pokedex,) contains this and at least one other, similar bird-like creature.
Shaun King has no clue what he's talking about
Warning: This is bound to make someone's blood boil; but it needs to be said. Shaun King, in his recent tweet, made a complete and absolute fool of himself. Let's count the ways: ===================== - 1. Almost everyone who pays attention knows that the modern image of Jesus is based on a series of ignorant re-imaginings by Europeans of artwork that in-turn, took inspiration from Coptic artworks of old. (Works that ISIS went to town to destroy, BTW.) Alexandre Dumas popularized a rumor that the most common art depiction, based on work by Leonardo DaVinci, was inspired by Leo's friend Cesare Bolgia. However, the evidence is scant to substantiate the claim. Regardless, the rumor has remained to this day. In fact, it is steadfastly assumed in most modern American churches, especially in the south. Rumors that Leo and Bolgia were gay also led to speakers at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival in January of 2009 declaring that most of the "overrated"

The world of Swappernetters sounds more and more like it could happen in real life! Maybe the space ruby wizard bad guys part won't; but a lot of the rest is already on its way! The Chrome Kite and Icy Finger may be fictional; but their "education" agenda is very real! As this article makes poignantly clear, Harvard (f)Law Screwl will now stoop to any lengths to malign and blood libel homeschooling of all forms, calling for an immediate ban. Using comical strawmen, laughable stereotypes, and sheer ignorance as if making "sol
